Smart Weather Station
‌About Kenpotter

The intelligent meteorological station is a fully automatic environmental monitoring device specifically designed for agricultural, forestry, and park scenarios. It integrates sensor technology, IoT transmission, and data processing technology, enabling round-the-clock and automated collection of various meteorological environmental data in the field. It replaces traditional manual observation methods and serves as the core infrastructure for smart agricultural pest and disease early warning and scientific planting management. It provides precise data support for stable crop production, yield increase, and fine management in the field.
Traditional agricultural meteorological monitoring heavily relies on manual, fixed-point recording, which is not only time-consuming and labor-intensive but also results in delayed data updates and significant errors, making it impossible to capture real-time changes in the field microenvironment. The growth of crops and the proliferation of pests and diseases are closely related to meteorological conditions such as temperature, humidity, light, and precipitation. Smart meteorological stations effectively address the drawbacks of traditional monitoring, enabling 24-hour uninterrupted operation and real-time capture of field microclimate dynamics. This provides a scientific basis for farming operations and pest and disease control, facilitating the shift from empirical farming to data-driven farming.
Equipped with multiple high-precision sensors, this device can accurately monitor core environmental parameters such as air temperature and humidity, soil temperature and humidity, wind speed and direction, rainfall, light intensity, atmospheric pressure, and evaporation. The device features an integrated design with a simple and sturdy structure, equipped with waterproof, dustproof, and lightning protection devices. It is resistant to high and low temperatures and weather erosion, and can adapt to various complex scenarios such as outdoor fields, large fields, orchards, tea gardens, and woodlands, ensuring stable operation throughout the year. With strong power supply adaptability, it supports both mains power and solar power supply, allowing it to operate autonomously even in remote fields without access to power grids.
The environmental data collected by the equipment is uploaded to the cloud platform in real-time via networks such as 4G and WiFi. It is automatically organized, stored, and used to generate data reports and change curves. Management personnel can remotely view the data in real-time through mobile phones and computers, eliminating the need for on-site duty. Additionally, the system can set data thresholds, automatically sending warning messages when environmental parameters are abnormal. This facilitates timely adjustments to irrigation, ventilation, and fertilization schedules by farmers, enabling them to proactively avoid pest and disease risks caused by extreme weather and high humidity and temperature.
Nowadays, intelligent meteorological stations have become standard equipment in high-standard farmland, smart planting bases, and plant protection monitoring and reporting stations. By accumulating meteorological data over a long period of time, it is possible to accurately analyze the patterns of the field environment. Combined with pest and spore monitoring equipment, a complete plant protection early warning system is formed, effectively reducing agricultural losses and pesticide and water resource consumption, and facilitating the high-quality development of green agriculture.
